| Relevant Meta-Search Results: Each search returns results from a collection of search sources, including sponsored sites and unique indexes compiled and maintained by our search partner Infospace. We use meta-search algorithms designed to identify the intent of a user's search. If the search term is determined to be commercial, a blended mix of results weighted towards sponsored sites is displayed. For example: a search with "Buy my mum a Christmas present" would result in a commercial intent being established and consequently we would display results with a commercial bias. In the case of a non-commercial search term (i.e. "origins of Christmas") our results will be weighted towards informational rather than commercial content. |
